The Role
The Accounts Payable Analyst will be responsible for overseeing accounts payable functions within Boat Rocker Studios, including invoice verification, vendor payments, expense reimbursements, and credit card reconciliations.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble, review and verify invoices and wire requests
  • Ensure proper supporting documentation and approvals are provided for all transactions
  • Monitor vendor payment schedules to ensure timely payment of invoices
  • Enter and upload invoices into NetSuite ERP system
  • Process employee expense claim forms in accordance with internal policy
  • Prepare and process electronic fund transfers and payments and prepare and perform check runs as required
  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions
  • Correspond with vendors as needed for invoices/vendor issues and problem resolution including invoice discrepancies, vendor disputes
  • Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
  • Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
  • Maintain vendor master files and responsible for vendor set-up process in ERP
  • Produce monthly reports for analytical purposes
  • Assist with month end closing process
  • Provide supporting documentation for financial audits
  • Other duties as required
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a full cycle Accounts Payable role in a public company or larger organization
  • Competent with MS Office suite of applications with moderate to intermediate user experience with Excel, and general comfort with learning new software applications
  • Experience with NetSuite considered an asset
  • Proven capacity to contribute positively to team environment
  • Ability to both follow direction and work independently to effectively manage workload and prioritize activities
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills, oral and written
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred but not required
  • Previous experience in television or other entertainment media is a plus

Salary Range: $50,000 - $60,000 CAD
