Production Coordinator

Our Toronto team is looking for a highly skilled Production Coordinator to support the artists on this awesome project!

You’ll get to:
  • Coordinate the efforts of the artists in your assigned department and ensure workload is distributed fairly and deadlines are met
  • Report directly to the Production Manager and ensure to stay up to date with production schedules, updates, and deadlines
  • Flag any issues to Production Manager/Producer and help troubleshoot any problems as they arise
  • Coordinate all material sent to Jam Filled by the client, including filing, organizing, and distributing scenes to the artists
  • Keep track of material sent by the client to ensure no files are missing, and to determine if extra reference material may be needed
  • Track department progress daily and create progress reports throughout Production schedule
  • Help manage artists’ schedules, and track any revisions needed
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings and reviews with Department Heads, Supervisors, Artists and other team members
  • Collaborate with Production Coordinators in other departments to make sure all relevant information and materials are delivered to the next stage of production

This will be your JAM if you have:
  • 2+ years Production experience in an Animation or VFX environment (required)
  • A solid understanding of 2D Animation, CG Animation or Visual Effects production
  • Experience with production management software system(s), preferably Shotgun
  • An intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills with the confidence to interact with all levels of employees and clients
  • Superior organizational and administrative skills, with a demonstrated ability to prioritize and a strong attention to detail
  • A positive, approachable demeanor and attitude
  • Capability of performing well in a fast-paced, high-energy environment while remaining self-motivated and proactive
  • Demonstrated interest in working in animation production
