The Senior Manager, HR Program Development will report in to the Vice President, Human Resources and will be responsible for supporting the wide range of growing needs for HR support across the company. This position will focus on building out the policy and compliance framework and its elements, along with further developing the talent acquisition model for BRM inclusive of constructing the onboarding strategy.  In addition, this person will work closely with the Head of HR on the design and execution of the culture and engagement strategy and contribute HR generalist support on integrations around the world.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, documentation and implementation of company-wide and country-specific global compliance-related policies and related training, and workforce policies where they don’t exist and/or need to be formalized
  • Lead the build-out of the Company’s talent acquisition capabilities and manage the ongoing development of related practices and processes to ensure compliance with entity and process level control requirements
  • Lead the build-out of the Company’s onboarding strategy and program
  • Contribute to the design and manage the execution of the company’s culture and engagement strategies
  • Work closely with the Head of HR to contribute HR generalist support on acquisitions and integrations through to a successful hand-off to the business partner team
  • Oversee and manage the company’s Health & Safety Program across all BRM entities
  • Work in close collaboration and coordination with other members of the HR team both locally based and elsewhere
  • Analyze design requirements for select modules (e.g. ATS) to ensure successful implementation into current or new HRIS systems as required
  • Provide process recommendation for all system changes to ensure consistency in approach and proper control processes are implemented
Qualifications
  • A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Human Resources preferred
  • 5- 7+ years’ experience in the HR field, or any similar combination of education and experience
  • A CHRP certification considered an asset
  • Demonstrated experience working in one or more of policy/compliance, recruitment/onboarding and culture and engagement
  • Proven experience participating in and/or leading in the design and/or build of HR programs
  • Must have strong knowledge of the MS Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Preference given to HR generalist / business partner experience
  • Excellent overall ability to build effective and productive working relationships
  • Proven ability to prioritize and effectively manage multiple tasks and projects that may have conflicting deadlines
  • Must be well organized, detail-oriented, and efficient
  • Must be comfortable working in an agile environment, be flexible and adaptable
  • Solid analytical thinking and planning skills
  • Excellent communication skills, oral and written
