Temple Street Development Internship

SUMMER/FALL INTERNSHIP: JULY TO OCTOBER We are looking for a dynamic individual who is a self-starter, takes initiative, feels passionately about their work, and will support the Temple Street team on a variety of new and ongoing projects. Our ideal candidate has previous exposure to the industry, and is eager to learn and adapt to the fast-paced, ever changing environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Managing the department’s calendars, databases, and filing systems
  • Reviewing creative materials and composing coverage
  • Coordinating meetings and travel
  • Development research as requested
  • Supporting ongoing production matters as needed
  • Covering front reception / answering phones on occasion as needed
REQUIREMENTS
  • Possess strong organizational skills with a meticulous eye for detail
  • Sharp creative instincts with a general understanding of the television landscape
  • Excellent communication skills, positive attitude, and problem-solving approach
  • General understanding of story structure, character development and written prose is ideal
  • A self-starter with a keen interest to learn
  • Ability to communicate professionally in person and via e-mail
  • Confidence in person and on the phone
  • Enthusiasm and passion for TV

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
  • 3 month internship that will start in July and end in October, with possibility for extension.
  • This position is paid. Compensation will be discussed with the successful candidate.
