Intern, Radical Sheep Development

We are looking for a dynamic individual who takes initiative, feels passionate about their work and will support the Development and Production team at Radical Sheep Productions on a variety of new and ongoing projects. Our ideal candidate has previous exposure to the industry and is eager to learn and adapt to the fast-paced, ever-changing environment.


  • Managing the department’s administrative needs
  • Coverage across entire Development slate
  • Oversee incoming pitch and material submissions
  • Supporting ongoing production and development matters
  • Coordinating travel and meetings
  • Industry and trends research
  • Assisting and liaising with other departments and teams
  • Designing sales materials
  • Covering front reception/answering phones on occasion as needed
  • Preferably someone with a TV or Film background
  • In depth understanding of the kid’s media industry landscape both in Canada and internationally
  • Proficient skills in Photoshop
  • Candidate must be passionate about children’s media/content
  • Excited and motivated researcher
  • A self-starter with a keen interest to learn
  • A people person with the ability to communicate confidently and professionally in person, via telephone, and via e-mail
  • Excellent communication skills, positive attitude, and a problem-solving approach
  • Passion for storytelling
  • Familiar with Radical Sheep’s slate
  • Competence in Microsoft Office products
  • Helpful to have a basic background or understanding of post-production work. (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut etc.)
  • Be a valued and meaningful member of the Radical Sheep team
  • Receive and provide feedback
  • Participate in meetings
  • Learn about animation and live action production
  • Coordinate and learn about every step of Development from conception to greenlight
  • Gain industry knowledge and skills
  • Network with the employees at Boat Rocker Media, build connections and gain exposure to different opportunities within the industry
  • 3-month internship that will start in October and end in December
  • Compensation will be discussed with the successful candidate
